The University of Illinois launches CURES to become the go-to place for helping cities achieve resiliency and environmental sustainability

The Center for Urban Resilience and Environmental Sustainability (CURES) in association with the University of Illinois has been established under the leadership of Dr. Don Wuebbles, Professor of Atmospheric Science and Greenleaf Board member. CURES combines the unique research capabilities of the University with applied learning, education, and public engagement to help cities of all sizes become more livable, prosperous, resilient, and sustainable. From its inception, Greenleaf has assisted with the Center's development and continues to advise on strategy and partnership engagements.
